Prayer to God
O my Lord Jesus Christ,
I thank You from the depths of my heart for the grace that You have given me,
first, liberation from sin and from Satan, and now, the grace to write
philosophy and share these thoughts to others. Give me the grace that I need so
I can maintain this philosophy project, in joy and in sorrow. If I ever fall
from this project, give me the grace to return to it and to remain loyal to
this project. O my God, I ask of You finally, so I may dedicate all of this
work only for Your Glory and Honor. Please accept this humble and small work my
God, so You may transform it into an enlightening grace, for me and for all
those who read and watch this work. Thank You my God, Lord Jesus Christ, I love
You, amen.
Opening Writing
It is the Ignasian
Tradition to write down about nothing. However, as soon as God enlightens me on
the most immediate object to be grasped, I switch over from nothing and write
down that.
Tradition
The word Tradition
comes from the Latin word “Tradere”, which means to deliver. Therefore, the word
Tradition in the sense of this work shall be distinguished from the normal
usage of tradition as mere habit. Instead, the word Tradition means “Something
which is transmitted or delivered”. Of course, the content of that transmission
can be anything. So from this we may identify 2 Traditions which inhabit the
earth, that is the Tradition of God and the Tradition of Evil. They both
compete with each other, but we know by faith that no matter how dark things
get, the Tradition of God shall prosper and triumph over the Tradition of Evil.
Introduction to the Project
I have said this many
times, but the Philosophical Project is a revival of ancient projects in my
life. As such, it is only my prayer and hope to God that He shall this time
sustain and maintain this Project. The problem previously is that I keep all my
work to myself in the fear of not being perfect. Yet it takes my slow brain a
long time to understand that the work is perfected when transmitted to others. That
is the essence of Tradition, that is a work is perfected because it is
delivered to others and others can improve the work and thus the Tradition
becomes alive. Yet the Tradition is not completely malleable such that the
essence can be changed. Instead, if any Tradition is of God, then what is of
God shall be perfected and be maintained until the end of times. So we stand on
the balance between complete staticity and complete dynamicity, both extremes
belong to Satan.
This Project is under
the hope in God, that is I hope that God guides this Project to the very end. Here
I receive from my predecessors through various sources and I attempt to contribute
to this Tradition and pass it down to everyone else and to the next
generations. Eventually, the Ultimate Source is God. Yet I do not guarantee for
I have no certainty that all of my thoughts are of God. For that reason, I rely
on everyone else to correct myself and perfect that Tradition which lives on
through all of us.
