Kanon Jiwa 4 A Statement on Faith and Reality

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Let all beings praise the Eternal and Most Holy Triune God! Let all beings bow down and confess that Christ is Lord and God! For that is how it shall be in the end of time. All tongues shall proclaim the divinity of Christ, yet not all will proclaim it out of love. Some will proclaim it out of fear and strangely enough, out of spite. These shall taste the fire due to their wicked nature. Yet others more will enter into the glory of God and be glorified with Him. They shall see Goodness itself, and be fully happy forever. They shall see reality as it truly is, liberated from the bondage of time and space.

I have 4 hours left before I have to surrender myself and empty myself of my ego. I must submit fully to the Divine Will and do my proper responsibilities and tasks. I shall devote these last 4 hours to full on writing about my Faith and Reality as I see it. I care not for the quality or for the structure of this writing. I shall write as I think, whatever that comes for the mind, and I shall let God guide me into whatever He wants me to write. I foresee that there might be small breaks in this session but otherwise I will devote myself fully to writing this Statement.

What do I believe? My Faith is in concordance with the Nicene Creed of the Catholic Church, you may look it up to examine my Faith, as is the Faith of all other Catholics in history, in present, and those that shall come after us. What I shall present here is not the Nicene Creed, but what I understand and remember as the Lord has moved my intellect to understand and remember. I believe in One God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Son has incarnated as a human being, thus becoming fully Man and fully God forever since the incarnation. He is named Yeshua Hamashiakh. He is born of the Blessed Virgin Maryam, and conceived of the Holy Spirit without any intervention of man.

What shall I say further on the Faith? There is not much that I can add to the Faith, as there is nothing to be added. The times are reaching their fullness, and so for that reason even private revelation is going to be more practical than they are theoretical. Theology is reaching its seal, until it is closed for good when Christ returns. Even then theology since the first coming has been closed, now is simply clarifications here and there by the Church. The ultimate clarification and clarity will of course be delivered by Christ when He returns fully to earth, where all people of all history shall know the fullness of the Truth as necessary for them.

Then I shall comment on reality instead. When the Buddhists say that reality is change, I say change is a real illusion. It means that change is real and not unreal, but it is an illusion in the sense that it is not the absolute reality. The absolute reality is eternity and permanence, found in God. For we examine the different perspectives, there is the finite perspective which creates the finite reality, and there is the Infinite Experience of God which is the Infinite and Eternal Reality. The foundation of the finite reality is of course that Divine Reality of all things. The Divine Reality can subsist without the finite, but the finite is completely dependent on the Divine.

In the Infinite Reality, everything is united in the Divine Simplicity. The Divine Simplicity has been revealed by God when He spoke to Moshe, "My Existence is My Essence." This is the true translation of the Hebrew words, "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh," instead of "I am who I am." Therefore in God, there is no distinction between anything for there is nothing else to be compared with. Distinctions and differences only exist in our finite world, yet in God, all is simply God, there is only God.

In God, all things are finished and completed, there is nothing lacking. For that reason He possesses all things, all forms and bodies belong to Him. For that reason we Catholics say that God has no form in His essence, He is pure spirit in His essence. However, with the incarnation God now has a true body, that is the Body of Christ, for Christ has a glorified body. The nature of this glorified body is uncertain though, and it is possible that the Church as a whole is His glorified body. Therefore when we receive the Eucharist we are in communion not just with Christ but with all of the members of His Body, the Church.

In contrast, we are finite and lacking. We are in a wayfaring state, in our journey to God. As such, it matters not to God whether we go to heaven with Him or be separated from Him forever in hell. It may matter to the human nature of Christ, but not to the Godhead. For it makes no difference in His experience whether we go to heaven or hell. Of course His knowledge is consequent upon our actions, yet at the same time He knows our actions before we even begin to exist. So it matters not what we do, we will do what we do, and it has been known by God before all of time. We may lose God, but God can never lose us, for He knows us intimately in a single point of existence for all of eternity.

What may lead us to hell or separation from God? The answer is sin. Sin is in essence rebellion against God, a contradiction against Goodness itself. All acts which are against the Moral Law is a transgression against the entirety of Goodness itself. That is why all sin is supposed to lead us into hell. The fact that there are people in heaven now is consequent of Christ's sacrifice. Now it is completely possible for the Godhead to cleanse us of sin without Christ's sacrifice. However, it is His decision to design this system, for it is this system which He views as the best for us. The most likely reason is so we may know the depths of God's love for us, and obtain the greatest meaning in this reality. This concludes the first section of this Statement.

Statement on Social Reality

The will of man is both free and determined, though some say that there is a certain element of arbitrariness. I do not believe that the will of man has any arbitrary element, it is completely determined though not by God, but by our own nature. For the very fact that God sees all things means that it has been determined, though not necessarily by God. This is the thing which some people do not understand, that God's Intellect does not imply absolute control by God. God sees the will of man in this world and in His Wisdom He decided from Eternity that it is this world that is the best of all possible worlds. As such, in part God is the logical cause for this world and its current state.

However, when asked about the moral cause of the current world, we must always give credit to humanity for determining its own course of life until we reach such degeneracy in the year of our Lord, 2022. Humanity has reached such a state that sin has become a foundational part of human culture. Yet if we truly reflect on this world, is it not how it has always been since the foundations of the world? On the other side, it is possible that sin in this modern world is truly magnified even exceeding that of the sin in Noah's time. I have heard this somewhere, but I cannot locate the precise source which stated that. As such it is only a possibility at this point.

What is certain is that with the arrival of advanced information and communication technology, sin is more visible than ever before. As such it is possible that sin is not worse today, but simply it is communicated to everyone more frequently and exposed to a higher degree for everyone to see than before. Around 500 years ago, sin would be localized and even be hidden. Now, people of sin have the capacity to gain more power for themselves and thus turn the tides against the righteous. Sacred Scripture has warned us against this phenomenon, the Great Apostasy.

The world will continue to degrade and nothing will get better, even if it does it is only a superficial progress. The reason why God would allow this to happen is to show to the world that in the end, man alone cannot save himself, only God can end sin once and for all for all the righteous people of God and bring salvation to those who have accepted His salvation. Regardless, we as the faithful people of Christ must not be fatalistic or give up in these dire circumstances. Instead, we must work even harder for our holiness and struggle more to save more souls, as much as we can and bring them to God.

My focus is not on the future, though I may have been obsessed with it some time ago. My current focus is on how the world is in the present moment. There are several things which I wish to critique in this society, and it is not about gender ideology or sexual orientation. These things are important and crucial, but I understand that they too are symptoms of the fundamental sin, pride. Pride is the beginning of sin, when man thinks that he is the measure of all truth and goodness, not God. That is when man begins to create his own definitions of reality instead of relying on God. In a sense I too am infected with pride, I wish to discover God with my own powers instead of relying on His Word to know Him. For that reason I too am a sinner.

The most visible manifestation of pride is anthropocentrism and humanism, as opposed to theocentrism and theism. It is the culture of humanism which now rules the world, which leads to the sexual revolution, the gender ideology, the sexual orientation diversity, and the eventual disintegration of the Sacred Family as God intends us to be in. This disintegration will destroy society as we know it, and the final destruction of society, the ushering of the Antichrist, will be a message for the believers that Christ is at hand.

Returning to the present, one of the manifestations of pride is the idea that this life is only about wealth and material power. We the faithful understand that life is not just about that. Yet even we are still entangled in this sin of greed, where we sometimes still worry about our worldly life instead of surrendering it completely to God. Even I am still worrisome sometimes, and many times the Lord has rebuked me for being full of anxiety and distrusting Him. The manifestation of greed is in the sin of capitalism. While probably not the greatest sin, it is one of the greatest.

Capitalism is by nature sinful, it is systemic sin in its nature of "profit motive" instead of "charity motive". I once thought that the sin of capitalism is in hierarchy, yet the Kingdom of God itself is a hierarchy, so it cannot be that. Finally I understood that even profit motive isn't all that bad if the profit is used for charity (as in the virtue of charity otherwise known as love). However, the way profit motive is understood is that wealth or capital is used for greater accumulation of capital, instead of charity. This greater accumulation of capital implies that capital is pursued for the sake of itself, not for the sake of God. This is already implicit idolatry. In fact, it might as well be true idolatry, for many men would sacrifice God for the sake of the false god of Mammon.

For everything has its relations, the sin of pride has also corrupted the political sphere, where man's laws are not founded in God but in mere human intellect. To an extent, the capitalist sin has also corrupted the state and the government. However, the way pride infects society in this level is different from the capitalist sin. It infects the state by making worldly prosperity, order, and obedience the only goal of the state. The only reason the state still promote values such as "justice" and "equality" is to appease the masses, but in practice there is no justice or equality. For true justice and equality is found only in God. When God is removed from the state, that is when chaos and disorder begins.

So must the world's governments be revoked with a single theocracy? First, this theocracy where God rules everyone directly will only happen at the end of time. Even then, there is already a theocracy on earth known as the Catholic Church. The only matter is that this theocracy has no power to enforce the Divine Law as that is what God has ordained for us. The force of law cannot be ordained by God under Christ, but be ordained by the civil authority, which is entrusted by God with the full domination of violence for means of temporal order. However, this violence must be used sparingly and with charity, lest the supreme commandment of God, that is of love, be broken.

Yet as we see in the current society, with cases of police brutality and unjust laws and what not, the state has been divorced from God and thus it ceases to be able to have proper dominion over violence, thus charitable violence ceases to be and there is only evil. The solution to all of this is of course reintroduce cooperation between Church and state. The law must be founded upon the law of God, and not the minds of man. The economy must be charity motive oriented and not capital accumulation oriented. Unfortunately, while we may struggle towards that end, it will not be permanent. If the world is truly nearing its end, then it may not even happen, we may see the advent of the Antichrist and then the return of Christ before any of this utopian dream may happen.

However, just to entertain my heart, let us see what the ideal nation state may be like. First, it is certainly Catholic. Other faiths and religions may be allowed, but the state must favor and prefer the Catholic Faith above all other faiths. As such, the state's constitution must be based on the morality of Catholicism as well. There can be no compromise of morality. The Church is seen as equal with the state, though having no temporal power of its own. Whether the state is democratic or authoritarian does not really matter, what matters more is whether the state aligns itself with the Faith or not. It is the constitution that matters. For I believe that just as a democratic state can fall into darkness, so can an authoritarian state can rise into God's glory.

The economy of the society must no longer be about capital or profit, but it must solely be about God. It is a means of man for glorifying God and obtaining holiness by spreading charity to others. However, this does not mean that the economy must be controlled by the government, freedom must be preserved. It is simply that the entire humanistic culture must be changed and reformed into a theistic culture, where the focus of man is not himself but God alone.

Next question, how can we struggle in this direction of a holy state? We must begin by reforming ourselves, then reach out to others in order to start reforming themselves as well, and spread this cultural spirit of Catholic charity to all nations. In other words, preach the Gospel to every being. Yet why has this not happened? Because it is not an easy task. The Church has struggled as much as it can with God's Grace and Providence to fulfill this task, but sometimes or many times God would allow man to fail and fall. For the Scriptures must be fulfilled with the coming end of this world.

Whatever happens in the outside world, we must always do our best to preach the Good News of Christ and God to ourselves, to our fellow faithful, and to those who have left or have not entered the Faith. To preach the Gospel means to actually preach but also make a good example and do any act of charity that we can do. For through charity we show who we are and who we come from that is the Lord our God. Thus is completed this final statement before the emptying of myself.
